Amitabh Bachchan crosses 7 million followers on Twitter

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has hit a new record in his Twitter fan following, which has risen to over 7 millions.
The 71-year-old actor, who had beaten Priyanka Chopra last year to become the most popular celebrity on the micro-blogging site, thanked his fans for their love and support.
"Thank you all ... Its 7 million plus on Twitter," Bachchan tweeted.
Followed by stars like Mukesh Bhatt, Sridevi, Dilip Kumar and Madhuri Dixit-Nene among other, the actor is one of the most frequent user of the popular social networking site.
Bachchan, who joined Twitter in 2010, has made 26,856 tweets so far.
