Sridevi was speaking during a launch of the trailer of Amole Gupte's next film 'Hawaa Hawaai'.
"Everyone associates 'Hawaa Hawaai' with 'Mr India'. But today it has got a new meaning with Amole Gupte's film 'Hawaa Hawaai'. I have loved watching Amole's films like 'Taare Zameen Par', 'Stanley Ka Dabba... His films touch emotional chord," Sridevi told reporters at the first look launch of 'Hawaa Hawaai'.
The makers of 'Hawaa Hawaai' said they roped in Sridevi for the launch of the trailer, as she was a part of the hit song by the same name from 'Mr India'.
Amole said he was also happy to get the trailer of his upcoming film launched by Sridevi.

'Hawaa Hawaai', which is set for a release on May 9, stars Amole's son Partho Gupte and Saqib Saleem.
On the occasion, Partho asked the veteran actress to share her childhood memories as a star.
"I had great memories as a child artist. I started working since I was four years old. All I remember is I wanted to become a star. I wish Partho a great future," Sridevi said.
