Punjab Health Minister Brham Mohindra along with minister Navjot Singh Sidhu Sunday visited two government hospitals to inquire about the people who were injured in the tragic train accident here.
Mohindra was also accompanied by ministers Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria and Sadhu Singh Dharmsot.
During their visit, the ministers thanked several NGOs for extending all possible help to the victims of the train accident.
Police Commissioner S S Srivastava, Deputy Commissioner Kamaldeep Singh Sangha, city Mayor Karmjit Singh Rintu besides other senior officials of the district administration also visited the hospitals.
The ministers said in the hours of grief, nobody should try to give political colouring to the present situation.
They said the compensation announced by the state government will be given at the earliest.
