Actress Amy Adams will be honoured with the 2017 American Cinematheque Award.
The five-time Oscar nominee is set to be presented the honour on November 10 at the Cinematheque's annual benefit gala at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, with in-person tributes from Adams' colleagues and friends, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The 42-year-old actress' credits include award-nominated roles in "The Fighter," "American Hustle" and "Doubt," and, more recently, "Arrival" and "Nocturnal Animals".
"Amy Adams is one of the most beloved, admired and respected actresses in movies today.
"In the words of one of her directors, she is smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful. Combined with her shining talents and unequalled likability in a career that is skyrocketing, Amy Adams is the ideal recipient of the American Cinematheque's 31st annual award," Chairman Rick Nicita said in a statement.
The American Cinematheque, established in 1981, is a non-profit that focuses of moving picture exhibition, including the operation of the historic Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.
Adams joins past award-winners Robin Williams, Reese Witherspoon, Steven Spielberg and Robert Downey Jr., among many others. Last year's honoree was director Ridley Scott.
