The 35-year-old actress, who has been vocal about the amendments in the gun control law, blasted the US Senate after it failed to pass a series of gun control measures this week, reported People magazine.
"I am sickened by the cowardice of these people who are supposed to lead us.
"Their dedication seems to be only to dollar signs for their own pockets. In November, we will remember who stood with the gun lobby, rather than their constituents, as we mourned for Orlando," Schumer said.
Schumer became an avid gun control supporter after a man opened fire in a movie theater during a showing of her film "Trainwreck".
She joined hands with her cousin, Senator Chuck Schumer, to call for stricter gun laws and universal background checks.
