An extremely humid day for Delhiites

It was an extremely sultry day for Delhiites as humidity level in the city rose to 87 per cent.
According to MeT department here, Safdarjung Observatory recorded 0.4 mm rainfall while Palam, Ayanagar and Ridge areas received 'nil' rainfall.
"Humidity in the air oscillated between 63 and 87 per cent during the day," the weatherman said.
The maximum temperature in the capital settled at 35.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal and marginally higher from yesterday's maximum.
The minimum was registered at 27.2 degrees Celsius, one notch above the normal and slightly less than yesterday's minimum.
"It will be generally cloudy. Light rains and thundershowers may occur in some areas tomorrow. The maximum and minimum temperature is likely to be around 34 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively," according to MeT forecast.
