"Make Amaravati your second capital after Tokyo. You come here once every six months and I, too, will visit Tokyo every six months. We will soon operate a flight between our capitals. Let us improve our relations," Naidu told a visiting Japanese business delegation here.
He was addressing the second AP-Japan Public Private joint conference.
Japan's Minister for Economic, Trade and Industry (METI) Yosuke Takagi led his country's delegation.
Naidu expressed happiness over Japan's willingness to set up a data centre, disaster prevention system, traffic management system, drinking water supply and sewerage systems in Amaravati, the new capital city coming up in the Vijayawada -Guntur region.
While AP showcased Amaravati and invest opportunities it presented, the Japanese sought a better business environment and improvements in Sri City SEZ for setting up the Japan Industrial Township.
