The delegation was led by J Satyanarayana, IT Advisor to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and comprised Ajay Sawhney, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister; Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, ITE&C; and Phani Chandra, Consultant, E&Y.
They held a brief discussion with the top officials at Infopark, including Chief Executive Officer Hrishikesh Nair, on the growth of the IT sector, the new IT policy and the changing investment and business environment in Kerala, a press release said here.
"The delegation lauded the growth of Infopark and the radical change in the IT investment climate in the state during the past 10 years," he added.
Kerala's IT parks have been developed on a hub and spoke model. Infopark, Technopark and Cyberpark are the three IT hubs while its satellite centres are spread across various districts in the state.
Kerala's new IT policy aims to develop the state as the most preferred IT/ITES investment destination in India.
The government expects to generate direct employment for 5,00,000 in the Information and Communications Sector by 2020.
