Andhra Pradesh government conducts cabinet meeting

The Andhra Pradesh government conducted its cabinet meeting in Rajahmundry today morning at a guesthouse here.
The cabinet condoled the recent Pushkaram stampede in which 27 pilgrims died.

The Rs 500-crore project would provide employment opportunities to 5,000 people. The project is likely to be completed by 2018 at Palakolanu, Uppalapadu and Uyyalapudu in Kurnool district.
A proposal to develop the AP capital of Amaravati as commercial capital of Asia like Shanghai, with the co-operation of Singapore and Japan, was discussed.
