President of Rajya Anganwadi Karamchari Sangh Mithlesh Kumari alleged that Tehsildar Veer Singh scolded them and threatened to dismiss them from their services, when they approached him on 'Tehsil Divas' at his office.
They were demanding the payment of their arrears for the period of summer vacations during which they provided their services, Kumari said.
Enraged Anganwadi workers staged a protest and raised slogans against the tehsildar and handed over a memorandum to district magistrate and cautioned that such type of ill behaviour will not be tolerated in future.
