"He (Anil Kapoor) supposed to be single in the film. It's a nice, fun-loving character. It's a very different role. In the film there is a romantic angle for him (Anil Kapoor), there is someone opposite him," sources said without divulging details about Anil's role.
Anil, 59, and his nephew actor Arjun Kapoor will play 'chacha-bhatija' in "Mubaraka".
According to sources, the makers are scouting for an actress opposite the "Nayak" actor, who will have a small appearance in the film.
Arjun will be seen in a double role and would be seen romancing two heroines - Ileana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty.
The film will go on floors from November and it will be shot in Punjab and abroad. Produced by Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde, the romantic-drama-comedy film is set to release in July next year.
Anil is presently busy with the second season of his superhit television serial "24" and Arjun is shooting for Mohit Suri's "Half Girlfriend".
