"War Heroes Of India", which was earlier published as a series of graphic novels and comic books, will be made into an animated series of 52 episodes, each with a duration of 22 minutes, Major General Bakshi said.
Every episode will be dedicated to an inspiring story of Indian heroes like Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who sacrificed his life in the Mumbai 26/11 attacks, and many other bravehearts like him, he said.
"The Indian armed forces and the Border Security Force are some of the most combat tested forces in the world. There are hundreds of stories of great valour and sacrifice that can motivate kids and spread values of duty honour and courage among our youth. An animated series portraying these stories is the best way to instill values today," Bakshi said.
