The Mumbai leg of the Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance junior football camp, an annual talent hunt for aspiring school-level footballers that is in its seventh year, is set to commence tomorrow.
The camp provides young, talented footballers an opportunity to prove their mettle, a media release said today.
Kolkata, Pune, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati and Kochi are the other cities in which the talent hunt would be conducted.
A total of 49 youngsters would be chosen from the school contact programme for the national finale to be held in Pune along with 11 top players from the online participation campaign.
The 60 selected participants will vie for the top five spots in Pune on July 31 for identifying five players to train in Germany's prestigious club, FC Bayern Munich.
The chosen five would also get a chance to attend a match at the Allianz Arena, the team's football stadium, and meet football stars from FC Bayern Munich, the release added.
