Annual Urs at Ajmer dargah concludes

The annual Urs at the dargah of Sufi Saint Hazarat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti concluded here today, with more than two lakh devotees, including from Pakistan, attending the nearly a week-long programme.
The 805th Urs culminated with 'Kul' ceremony, also known as 'Chati', at the dargah after which the devotees started leaving the city.
The last 'Shahi Mahfil' ofUrs happened this afternoon under the guidance of Dargah Deevan Sayed Janual Abedin.
A 'chaadar' was offered at the dargah on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Urs which started on March 30.
UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh and Chief Minister Vasundhra Rajealso offered 'chaadar' on the grave of the Saint.
A delegation of 402 Pakistani pilgrims, who also attended the Urs, will depart for home April 8.
