"The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 AM was 6.8 degrees Celsius, which is one notch below normal for this time of the year, and humidity was recorded at 95 per cent," said an MeT official.
The weatherman predicted a clear sky for the rest of the day.
"There will be mainly clear sky for today, followed by shallow/moderate fog in the morning (tomorrow)," said the official, adding the maximum temperature for the day is expected to settle at 21 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 6 degrees Celsius, both one notch below the average.
