Another hot day in Delhi

Delhiites experienced another hot day today with the mercury remaining at over 40 degree Celsius, while weather predictions for the coming days offered little solace for citizens.
The maximum was recorded at 41.4 degree Celsius, two degrees above normal and marginally down from yesterday's 41.6 deg C, while the minimum was at 26 deg C, up from the previous day's 24.3 deg C and one point above normal.
The humidity was also on the higher side, oscillating between 26 and 63 per cent.
The weathermen have predicted a clear sky for tomorrow and the maximum and the minimum temperatures are expected to remain at 41 and 25 degree Celsius respectively.
In May last year, the mercury had touched a high of 45 degree Celsius on the last day of the month. The record for the month of May was 47.2 degree Celsius recorded on 29th day of the month in 1944.
