A day after unidentified miscreants triggered an Improvised Explosive Device in the heart of Imphal injuring seven persons, another IED was found in Tengnoupal district on Tuesday, police said.
The IED, which was packed in a plastic bag, was discovered in the morning by people of Holenphai village close the Indo-Myanmar border town of Moreh.
The IED was later detonated by the bomb squad, police said.
Monday's IED blast occurred in front of a vehicle spares shop in the congested locality of Major Khul in Imphal around 5.30 am.
The condition of the seven injured was now stable, said sources in the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences where they have been admitted.
