Brazil head coach Carlos Amadeu today said a "world classic" is on the cards as the three-time former champions take on Germany in the FIFA Under-17 World Cup quarterfinal here tomorrow.
"Brazil against Germany is always a world classic -- all ages, be it in senior or at Under-15. Whenever both teams play against each other it's always a world class," Amadeu said of their great rivalry.
In the recent past, Germany annihilated Brazil 7-1 in the 2014 World Cup in the latter's den, while the Neymar-inspired Selecao returned the favour at the Rio Olympics last year en route to winning the gold medal.
"Both teams always try to play, not like one team going forward and another sitting back. Both teams try to play and score.
"It's a win-win situation, both for players, crowd, media and all the professionals who are attached to football. Always there's a great game on offer in Brazil versus Germany match. Since the last round, the key is to win because if we don't you go out."
Amadeu took charge of the Brazil U-17 side in May 2015, in the lead-up to the U-17 World Cup in Chile, where he steered the team to the last eight before being knocked out by eventual champions Nigeria.
Stressing on the need to be prepared for any situation, he said: "We tell the guys to be balanced. If they're losing they should try to revert the situation. If they are leading they must keep their focus on winning. This is the key -- to go further."

The team has been preparing hard for penalty shootouts for more than two years.
"They have to be prepared for the situation if it's a (regulation time) draw. We are training for this moment since 2015. We have two and half years of work with these guys."
He preferred to be realistic and added: "In the end, one thing you cannot control is the result. As they are working for a long time to be in this moment, to play in this match, they have to enjoy. It's the result you cannot control. You can change your style of play but result is something nobody cannot control."
In their pre-quarterfinal win over Honduras, Weverson Costa was replaced by Luan Candido in the 45th minute and the coach said the players suffered a back injury.
"Should he be fit tomorrow, we have this possibility of him returning to regular left back position."
Talking about the new generation of Brazilian footballers, he said: "I cannot compare generations. This generation is really good. Brazil have always shown and produced good players. This is something we are used to."
Asked whether they're eyeing stints in Europe, he said: "About the market, it happens because of what we're producing. We know that. They have to be professionals and keep growing with their market value in Europe."
Brazil may be a three-time champions but the coach does not want to be called favourites.
"I don't think it's an advantage. All teams are prepared for a competition like this. There are so many factors like the weather condition, humidity. Everybody is prepared for any situation like losing a player by injury, suspension or a red card. I'm sure Germany are prepared for this too."
Brazil senior national team have a new coach in Tite, who took over from Dunga, and Amadeu said as a coach they're prepared to deal with axing.
"It's not up to me to comment on such things. We cannot control this but I am just working. I'm coming from clubs with more than 20 years experience of working there in youth development.
"In Brazil we have clubs who change coaches five times a year. We are used to this but what we try to do is produce best players who we see can serve the senior team one day. The perfect scenario is to maintain the same coach and players, but if the the idea does not happen, we have to adapt and work," he signed off.
