Led by its founder D R Mehta, the team will provide 1000 artificial limbs to amputees in Kabul free of charge at a camp.
This will be the 5th camp of BMVSS, makers of the famed artificial limb 'Jaipur Foot', in Afghanistan.
The Vice President said he felt privileged to be associated with a great mission of not only providing assistance, but also make people smile.
He said the people of Afghanistan have suffered the agonies of war and also loss of lives and produced a very large number of disabled persons and the effort symbolises close friendship between India and Afghanistan.
