Congress general secretary Mohan Prakash today said an anti-BJP wave was sweeping across Madhya Pradesh ahead of the Assembly elections.
"I can see that these winds of change are there in all sections of society, including the youth, dalits, adivasis and farmers," Prakash told reporters.
When pointed out about the charge of Congress MP Uday Pratap Singh, who crossed over to BJP earlier in the day, that money changed hands in the distribution of tickets for the November 25 polls, Prakash said in a lighter vein that "the MP must first say how much money he had spent on getting a Congress ticket for the Lok Sabha".
He said the Congress had lodged a complaint with the Election Commission against the use of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's name in the print line for various advertisements issued by the BJP.
"In case the ads were being issued by Chouhan, the money spent on them should be included in his poll expenditure," Prakash said.
