Theatre lovers in the capital were in for a treat as Anupam Kher staged his much-appreciated autobiographical, one-man play "Kuchh Bhi Ho Sakta Hai", in which theveteran Bollywood actor bares his soul to the audience telling his life story.
The 60-year-old actor in the play has traced his own journey of how a young ordinary boy of a Kashmiri Pandit family from the small city of Shimla, made it big in life.
"This is a journey of a man who should have been a failure but who manipulated his destiny and forced it to become a success," Kher said of the play, which is a treasure trove of anecdotes.
"Kucch Bhi" is a frank and funny, yet gripping narration of his childhood days to the struggle to become an actor, from his love interests to his marriage, from his humiliations to his success, from his ego trips to learning to be humble.
It was staged as a full production with Kher also narrating and dramatising the important events in his life like - first romantic encounter, failure at "Gandhi" audition, casting in "Saransh", awards, personal relationships etc.
Before the staging of the play, Kher freely mingled with the audience at Sirifort auditorium to get them into the mood of the story.
He was also seen guiding some audience members to their seats.

"I love interacting with you all. I don't need bodyguards. I am fearless. People who are scared of something need bodyguards," Kher told the crowd.
At one point, Kher stopped his performance to ask a fan to stop fiddling with his phone and concentrate on the play.
"You have come to watch the play I guess. So what are you looking at your phone? Please put your phone away," Kher said.
