"There is no post of a vice president in the constitution of the party. So the appointment of Pallavi Patel, my elder sister, to the post is wrong," Anupriya told reporters here.
"The president cannot form any new post by herself... A unanimous resolution cancelling the appointment made to the post of vice president was passed in the national-level working committee meeting on Oct. 20," said Anupriya, who is also the general secretary of the party.
"The reports about differences between me and my mother and me and my sister are totally wrong... There are no such issues between us."
Anupriya said that the party has decided that the nomination of anybody for any post can be made only after an amendment of the constitution passed by a national convention of the party.
Pallavi was recently appointed vice president of the party by her mother and Apna Dal president Krishna Patel.
