The Miss Earth title winner, who will be making her foray into films with Kashyap's directorial venture "Raman Raghav 2.0," says working on the dark thriller was like self-discovery.
"Getting a part in 'Raman Raghav 2.0' was an unbelievable moment. I couldn't believe that it was happening to me. I thought Anurag sir would be strict and I had certain kind of perception about him, but he was warm and interactive.
"He nurtures his actors to perfection. He has taught me a lot. Anurag sir is someone every actor would want to work with. I feel really fortunate to have this opportunity so early," Sobhita told PTI.
"My character is like a domesticated wolf. She plays Raghav's love interest. As a person she has very strong sense of self. She is mysterious, intriguing, but at the same time very enduringly vulnerable. The relationship between her and Raghav is romantic but in a very twisted way."

Inspired by the real-life story of serial killer Raman Raghav, the film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles of a psycho killer and a police officer.
For Sobhita, working with both the actors was more empowering than intimidating. The actress said her co-stars motivated her to perform better.
"But they are so dedicated. The passion they have towards their work, instead of intimidating me, it empowered me. There is so much sincerity in what they do, you just can't stop from giving your best."
Sobhita, who calls herself an introvert and likes writing poetry, said doing a dark film like this was strangely comforting for her.
"It was so enjoyable to play something so intense. As a person I am an introvert. I am a backpacker, I write dark poetry so for me connecting with the character on fundamental level was very comforting in a very strange way.
Produced by Phantom Films, "Raman Raghav 2.0" will hit the theaters on June 24.
