Shetty, who belongs to Puttur in Dakshina Kannada district, had visited Sri Mookambika temple at Kollur yesterday.
Clad in a simple salwar-kameez, Anushka was accompanied by her mother Prafula Shetty and brother Gunaranjan Shetty.
Shetty later told reporters that she was extremelyhappy with the success of 'Bahubali 2, which has already grossed over Rs 1,500 crore at the box office.
She said she was visiting temples in coastal Karnataka, her native land, to express her gratitude to the Almighty.
