Naming buddy Anurag Basu as one director she would love to work under for any film based on Durga puja in Bengal, Bollywood actor Kangana Ranawat says she gushed over Vidya Balan's role in Kahaani.
"Anurag had introduced me to the sweet Bengali word Bhalo and he is one director with lot of sensibilities," Kangana said on the sidelines of inaugurating eastern India's largest jewellery showroom here.
"Yes I liked Kahaani, having Durga puja as backdrop and Vidya's role. I would love to be part of a film themed on the festivities here. I know there are films themed on the occasion," Kangana said while opening Adrija jewellery here.
"If I wish to be part of cast of a film themed on Durga puja it can be Anurag in Hindi, my first director. And for Bengali film industry well I don't know. Any sensitive director and if the role excites me," Kangana, who had first got rave reviews in Anurag's Gangster and Kites later on, said.
Stating how excited she felt about the two upcoming flicks Krrish 3 and Rajjo, she said, "An actor should always be evolving in her style statements.
Flaunting the set of diamond studded necklace and earrings, she said, "Any woman loves to wear her jewellery. Yes I am a jewellery person. Who is not? I like the neck ornaments and the designs."
Describing Durga as the epitome of woman power, she said, "This is the time of year I worship the Mata and pray for nine days. Can sense the buzz and excitement of puja festivities on my way to the venue here."
