AOC-in-C's two-day visit to NE states concludes

Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Command, Air Marshal R K Jolly concluded his two-day visit to the North East today, an official release said.
The AOC-in-C, accompanied by his wife and Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) (Regional) president Meenakshi Jolly, visited Air Force stations at Jorhat in Assam and Vijaynagar in Arunachal Pradesh, it said.
The AOC-in-C was presented a Guard of Honour at the Jorhat Air Force station before which he addressed all the Air Warriors of the station.
He lauded them for their determination in safeguarding the northeastern region of the nation.
He also visited various units and sections of the station and inspected the vital installations and the ongoing development works there, the release said.

Today he visited the Advanced Landing Ground (ALG) at Vijaynagar and interacted with local people there.
Meanwhile, AFWWA (Regional) president Meenakshi Jolly presided over a meeting with 'Sanginis' of the association, it said.
