AP: Bank employee robbed of Rs 11 lakh

A bank employee was today robbed off Rs 11 lakh in cash by some unidentified persons who threw chilli powder in his eyes in Gudivada town of Krishna district.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Naganna said L Ram Prasad, the complainant, was supposed to deposit the cash in an ATM of Axis Bank in the town.
"As he was heading for his home for having lunch before visiting the ATM, some men threw chilli powder into his eyes and snatched a bag containing the cash," the DSP said, adding investigation was on.
