The Chief Minister so far toured 11 out of 23 districts in the state as part of Indiramma Baata and gave over 1,020 "assurances" to people.
Kiran reviewed his assurances at a high-level meeting here today, wherein officials informed him that 423 assurances were already "addressed and settled", while the remaining 597 were "under progress".
The Chief Minister asked the Finance Department to immediately release Rs 1,000 crore for the ongoing works.
He wanted works under progress to be completed by the end of this month and those under process to be finished by March 31, a press release from the CMO said.
"The Chief Minister has directed the officials to speed up the action for establishment of new institutions like hospitals, colleges, schools, Industrial Training Institutes, etc that need to be opened for the academic year 2013-14," the CMO release added.
