"The Telangana CM is unnecessarily blaming me. How can I be responsible for Telangana's electricity woes," he said, reacting to KCR's criticism that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief is responsible for the current power crisis in the new-born state.
"The TDP is in no way responsible for the power crisis in Telangana. In fact, I had warned long ago that the new state would face a power crisis because the consumption here is high while the generation is low. The Telangana CM then hoodwinked people saying he would get power from neighbouring Chhattisgarh to overcome the crisis in the new state," Naidu said.
Andhra Pradesh would sell its surplus power, if any, first to Telangana, the Chief Minister said.
