AP CM to visit Vizianagaram district tomorrow

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be on an official visit to the district tomorrow.
According to an official, Naidu will leave Vishakapatnam airport at 1.50 pm and reach 2.20 pm at Thotapalli Helipad in Garububilli Mandal in the district.
The Chief Minister will formally release the water from Thotapalli reservoir, an ongoing project, into a canal.
"Once the water is released from Thotapalli reservoir, the long-pending demand of people from the district will be met as it will help irrigate more than 50,100 acres of land," state Rural Development Minister Dr Kimidi Mrinalini told reporters here today.

She alleged that the construction of the project got delayed due to the negligence by previous governments.
The foundation stone of the Thotapalli project was laid by Naidu in November 2003.
