The highest temperature of 43.5 degrees Celsius was recorded at Kavali in Nellore district, Met officials said.
Light showers were also experienced at many places, they said.
The maximum temperature in various towns in the state had been hovering around 45 degrees Celsius in the past few days and the fall in mercury levels now is attributed to the low pressure area which is still forming over the Bay of Bengal.
Guntur district in coastal Andhra accounted for the maximum number of 95 deaths, followed by Prakasam (75), East Godavari (60), Adilabad (43), Karimnagar (43), Nalgonda (47), Khammam (26), Warangal (20), West Godavari (16) and Nizamabad (16) among others, officials said.
