Aiming to ensure 24X7 power supply to domestic consumers in Andhra Pradesh, the state government today said it is planning to introduce an online system to address the complaints of the power consumers.
Observing that it is the "dream project" of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to ensure 24x7 power supply to domestic consumers, an official release quoting top officials said the new system to address the complaints would be launched from August 15.
As per the system, if a complaint is made to the designated toll free number, it would reach the sub-station concerned immediately and the staff would reach the complainant for taking up repair works.
The complaint would be closed only after higher officials contact the consumer and get it confirmed that power supply is restored, the release said. The repairs should be completed in 24 hours.
The Chief Minister would be given a power point presentation on the system in two days, it added.
