"Treating Andhra Pradesh as their personal estate, the Congress party and the Union Government have opted to divide the state without associating all stakeholders in decision making," it said in a statement here.
As people in Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra protested against the division plan, Congress chose to appoint a party committee instead of a government committee to give them a hearing, it said.
As per the mission, named 'Telugu Tejam', Narayan would visit important towns in Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra from September 14 to 27 and hold round-table conferences and public meetings.
He would call upon the people "not to be swayed by passion and become pawns in political parties' cynical machinations" to garner votes by fuelling hatred, it said.

Whether the state remains intact or is divided, the glory of Telugus and their language should not be sullied by people from various regions fighting against each other, it said.
Residents of Hyderabad, irrespective of the region they hail from, should be provided statutory protection for pursuing their professions or job there, the party said.
