Attributing the win to the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah, Singh who recently took oath as Uttar Pradesh Cabinet minister, said, "The victory in the election was primarily because of the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party chief Amit Shah. I would also congratulate the state BJP unit."
Polling was conducted for
Srikakulam-Vizianagaram-Visakhapatnam,
Prakasam-Nellore-Chittoor and Kadapa-Kurnool-Anantapur Graduates constituencies, and Prakasam-Nellore-Chittoor, and Kadapa-Kurnool-Anantapur Teachers Constituencies.
