The move comes close on the heels of power sector employees and teachers withdrawing their strikes.
AP Secretariat Seemandhra Employees Forum, which spearheaded the stir, said they had "fruitful" talks with the CM over the issues raised by them and hence they are temporarily calling off their agitation.
"We are withdrawing from the indefinite strike temporarily based on the assurance given by Chief Minister that they will defeat the resolution (for division) of the state in the Assembly," Forum chairman U Murali Krishna said at the end of the talks here.
"We will resume the strike if there is any forward movement on (creation of separate) Telangana," Krishna warned.
