National award winning filmmaker Aparna Sen today called for writing a joint letter to President Pranab Mukherjee against curbing of freedom of speech.
"Let us all sign a joint letter to the President to protest against the curbing of freedom of speech. Who will draft the letter?" Sen tweeted today.
Sen's comment comes a day after Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan came out strongly against what he called "extreme intolerance" in the country and said intolerance towards creativity and religion will hurt the country.
