The resolution was made during a consultative meeting of the two bodies held on November 8 at Dimapur, stated a release issued by Naga Hoho media cell here today.
The Naga Hoho stated that in the meeting, both the organisations had a thorough discussion on their traditional ties, folklore and recorded history between Nagas and Ahoms and also the historical matrimonial alliance between the two communities.
The two bodies have unanimously decided to have a cultural exchange programme within this year while also deciding to have time to time consultative meeting for better and mutual understanding in order to uphold the integrity of the body, the release added.
