APMCC announces yatra calendar for 2014

All Parties Migrants' Coordination Committee has announced its yatra calendar for this year in which the historic 'Kousar Naag yatra' is also being organised for the first time after decades.
The Kousar Naag (Kramsar-Vishnupaad) yatra from Kashmir side has been added to the yatra calendar of APMCC which will be conducted for the first time from Kongwatan side after decades, yatra coordinator of APMCC Amit Raina said today.
The yatra will be organised on 'Naag Panchami' from July 30 to August 3, the details of which will be produced later, he said.
The yatra which is also going on from Jammu side for the last four years is being organised from July 30 too and the pilgrims from both sides will meet at Kousar Nag on Naag Panchami, Raina said.
He also announced the dates for the other regular yatras of APMCC which include the sixth annual yatra for historic 'Harmukh Ganga (Gangbal) yatra' 2014, which the APMCC started in 2009 after 100 years at the mountainous Northeast Harmukh Range, 14,500 feet above the sea level.
The yatra will be conducted by Harmukh Ganga (Gangbal) Trust and APMCC jointly from August 31 to September 4, for which the registration will close on May 12, he said, adding this year the yatra will have the registration fee of Rs 100 only.
He said yatris for Gangbal will have to reach Zeshtha Devi temple for onward journey by the evening of August 31 positively.
