"There is a nexus between mainstream politicians and separatist elements in Kashmir who oppose the return of Kashmiri Pandits to valley in townships," Chairman of All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) Vinod Pandit said.
Meanwhile, National spokesperson of APMCC King Bharati said, "While we strongly condemn the stance of the separatists, NC and Engineer Rasheed, we also condemn the state government for taking a U-turn under pressure from the Hurriyat".
Pandit also alleged that there was a nexus between National conference and Hurriyat as both the parties along with Independent MLA Engineer Rasheed Ahmed "were talking in same language when it comes to the return of Pandits to Valley".
He said that it was Kashmiri Pandits' prerogative "when to return, where to return and how to live" "nobody can dictate terms to us, separatists and mainstream political parties were befooling government of India over township issue knowing well that majority of Kashmiri Pandits were forced to sell their land and property in Kashmir" he said.
He also demanded the constituting of National Level Apex Committee comprising ground level leaders under the direct supervision of Government of India to formulate any return plan adding only KPs themselves would decide how and where to live.
