However, other pulses prices moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said besides adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing region, fall in demand at existing levels, mainly led to decline in arhar prices.
Meanwhile, over 5,366 tonnes of pulses have been offloaded in the markets so far out of a total 1.32 lakh tonnes seized from hoarders in raids conducted by the states, a move aimed at boosting supply and easing prices also influenced sentiment.
