Arhar, its dal decline on low demand

In restricted activity, arhar and its dal prices fell up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale market today on subdued demand from retailers.
However, other pulses after moving in a narrow range in limited deals, settled at previous levels.
Traders said sluggish demand from retailers against adequate stocks position mainly led to the fall in arhar and its dal prices.
In the national capital, arhar shed Rs 100 at Rs 7,800, while its dal dara variety dropped by Rs 200 to Rs 11,100-13,100 per quintal, respectively.

Urad Rs 8,800-11,550, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 9,800-10,000, Urad best Rs 9,900-10,500, Dhoya Rs 10,300-10,700, Moong Rs 7,000-7,600, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 7,600-8,000, Moong Dhoya local Rs 8,000-8,500 and best quality Rs 8,500-8,700.
Masoor small Rs 4,400-5,000, bold Rs 4,450-5,050, Dal Masoor local Rs 5,400-5,900, best quality Rs 5,500-6,000, Malka local Rs 5,800-6,300, best Rs 5,900-6,300, Moth Rs 5,300-5,700, Arhar Rs 7,800, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 11,100-13,200.
