Arhar, its dal recover on scattered demand

Barring arhar and its dal, prices of other pulses held steady at the wholesale pulses market today amid a thin trade.
Traders attributed the rise in arhar and its dal prices to some demand from retailers.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety rose by Rs 50 and Rs 100 to Rs 4,250 and Rs 6,200-8,000 per quintal, respectively.
Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 5,600-7,100, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 6,100-6,200, Urad best Rs 6,200-6,700, Dhoya Rs 6,600-6,800, Moong Rs 5,200-5,400, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,700-5,900, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,300-6,800 and best quality Rs 6,800-7,000.
Masoor small Rs 4,200-4,500, bold Rs 4,250-4,600, Dal Masoor local Rs 4,700-5,200, best quality Rs 4,800-5,300, Malka local Rs 5,000-5,200, best Rs 5,100-5,300, Moth Rs 3,450-3,850, Arhar Rs 4,250, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 6,200-8,000.
Gram Rs 5,750-6,500, Gram dal (local) Rs 7,100-7,400, best quality Rs 7,500-7,600, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 2,700, Rajdhani Rs 2,700, Rajma Chitra Rs 7,400-10,200, Kabuli Gram small Rs 10,000-10,300, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,600-5,800, Peas white Rs 2,600-2,625 and green Rs 2,800-2,900.
