Arhar, its dal remain weak on sluggish demand

Arhar and its dal prices fell further by up to Rs 100 quintal at the wholesale pulses market in the national capital today following easing demand against adequate stocks position.
Traders said besides fall in demand from retailers, ample stocks position on increased supplies from producing regions mainly kept arhar and its dal prices down.
Arhar and its dal dara variety fell by Rs 50 and Rs 100 to Rs 4,550 and Rs 6,500-8,300 per quintal, respectively.

Masoor small Rs 4,700-5,000, bold Rs 4,750-5,100, Dal Masoor local Rs 5,200-5,700, best quality Rs 5,300-5,800, Malka local Rs 5,500-5,700, best Rs 5,600-5,800, Moth Rs 3,850-4,250, Arhar Rs 4,550, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 6,500-8,300.
