Arhar, its dal rise on increased buying

Barring a rise in arhar and its dal prices of Rs 100 per quintal on fresh buying by stockists, other pulses held steady at the wholesale pulses market today.
Traders said fresh buying by stockists following uptick in demand from retailers amid restricted supplies from growing regions, mainly led to rise in arhar and its dal prices.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,850 and Rs 5,800-7,700 per quintal respectively.
