Traders said besides easing demand from retailers at prevailing levels, ample stocks position on higher supplies after the government announced measures to check rising prices.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety eased by Rs 100 each to Rs 9,000 and Rs 11,900-13,600 per quintal, respectively.
Urad also shed Rs 50 to Rs 10,900-12,600 per quintal. Its dal chilka local, best quality and dhoya too ended lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 11,200-11,400, Rs 11,300-11,900 and Rs 11,700-12,100 per quintal, respectively.
