sophisticated pistols and a carbine from a house here and arrested five persons, Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar Nayak said today.
On a tip off, police conducted raid last night at a rented house in Naya Bazar area of Bettiah town of West Champaran district and recovered the arms.
Five persons, including one Deinesh Kushwaha, who had taken the house on rent have been arrested in this connection, the SP said .
The SP said after questioning those arrested it has come to light that these sophisticated arms were sourced from Munger to be sold in Bettiah.
