Army Corps of Signals motorcycle team creates world records

Army's Corps of Signals' 'Daredevils' motorcycle display team today claimed to have created three new world records in the presence of top Army, judicial and civilian officials.
The Daredevils Display Team on motorcycles first created a record by forming the quickest human pyramid in just 70 seconds on three bikes carrying 15 men in a kilometre on a long rectangular track, Subedar Suresh Kumar said.
The riders created their second record by crossing motorcycles over the stomach of Nayak D K Behra over 1,200 times in 13 minutes surpassing the past record of 1,026 times in ten minutes.
They created their third record by riding motorcycles with the rider sitting with his back in front on a rectangular track by travelling a distance of 218 kilometres in 21 minutes, he said.
The three records were created as per guidelines given in Guinness Book, Limca Book of Reords and the India Book of World Records. These records would be published in their next edition, Subedar said.
The Daredevils Team had also performed during Republic Day Parade, Army Day, Asiad and SAF and Afroasian Games.
In 2013, the Daredevils Team had created eight new world records and the same were acknowledged by Guinness, Limca, Asia and India Book of Records, he said.
Madhya Pradesh High Court's Chief Justice A M Khanvilkar, Justice Ajit Singh and top Army Officers from Central India among others, witnessed the creation of these three records.
