Army, police take out flag march in Bhiwani

A joint team of army and police today carried out flag march here and urged people to cooperate with the district administration to help restore normalcy.
The teams asked the people not to come out of their residences as curfew had been imposed and maintain peace.
Action would be taken against those found violating the curfew and prohibitory orders imposed under Section 144 that bans assembly of five or more persons, Bhiwani District Magistrate Pankaj said.
Pankaj has issued orders to appoint three Duty Magistrates and ordered to shut down all country-made and foreign liquor vents in the district with immediate effect.

Superintendent of Police, all Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner have been directed to shut down the liquor shops in areas under the jurisdiction concerned till February 22.
