Northern Command Chief Lt General Chachra, who met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today, reiterated the Army's commitment to zero tolerance towards the human rights violations and that cases of misdemeanor, if any, would be dealt severely.
The Commander during his meeting with the Chief Minister also briefed him on the recent counter terrorist operations, security situations along the Line of Control (LoC) and the recently held talks between the BSF and Pakistan Rangers DGMOs in Lahore, defence spokesman said here.
The Commander further assured Omar that Army would continue with people-friendly operations and no inconvenience would be caused to the people during such operations.
