Army sets up mobile schools for Gujjars in Kishtwar

Army has set up mobile schools for children of Bakkarwals and Gujjars in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district.
Under the programme, mobile schools are imparting primary education to children of Bakkarwals and Gujjars at Haidhar, Tibba, Sinthan Maidan, Asthan Mandu and Kibbar, with educated youth drawn from their community as teachers, a defence spokesman said here today.
As many as 132 children are attending these mobile schools, he said.
